I am a social worker and family therapist with over eight years post-qualifying experience, and over five years experience providing supervision and consultation to frontline practitioners and leaders in mental health, AoD, family violence and housing and homelessness sectors.

I offer compassionate and non-judgemental services to people in Melbourne, often starting with practical strategies to support coping in the here and now.

I am drawn to person centred therapeutic modalities that support accountability alongside strengthening a personal sense of self worth for individuals, families and communities. Specifically, I use Family Systems Therapy, Narrative practices, Internal Family Systems practices and a range of focused psychological strategies. I will always talk with you directly about the kinds of strategies that I think may be helpful for you, and seek your input on how you would most like to work together.

I work with individuals and families from all walks of life, and I have a strong professional interest in working with families who need practical support now, while working towards longer-term strategies to get back on track.

As a transgender man, I have strong connections to the Queer community, and a personal understanding of the ways that shame and discrimination can impact the ways we see ourselves. This is an area of work I am deeply passionate about, and I welcome questions during our initial consultation and throughout the journey of our work together. I am also passionate about working with people who have been impacted by the war on people who use drugs, the criminalisation of sex work, incarceration, and other forms of marginalisation.

About my clinical practice

About my supervision practice

I take a practical, client centred approach to supervision with the aim of supporting reflexive practice and accountability to the communities we work within. I have supervised practitioners across AoD, mental health, family violence and housing and homelessness fields.
I also have experience working in senior leadership roles in community services, and offer “supervision of supervision” as well as leadership coaching for emerging and established supervisors.
